Allergy immunotherapy shots

Allergy immunotherapy shots or ‘allergy shots’ are used to treat chronic resistant allergies and are administered at a clinic. They work by exposing you to tiny amounts of specific allergens at a time by injecting them under the skin. This allergy treatment method makes you more tolerant of allergens around you, so you can be less sensitive to common allergens like tree pollen, grass pollens, or animal dander. After receiving this treatment over an extended period, many people with allergies will be more comfortable around things they were once allergic to without needing allergy pills or emergency treatment for an allergic reaction.
