YAG laser surgery

When performed in the eye, one type of YAG laser surgery is YAG laser capsulotomy. YAG laser capsulotomy is often indicated when patients who underwent cataract surgery later develop complications in the posterior capsule, such as posterior capsular opacification (PCO). Another type of YAG Laser Eye surgery is YAG Laser Vitriolizes which is performed on floaters that form inside the eye. An eye YAG laser surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure with anesthetic eye drops. This surgery does not require any cut in your eye but only drops to dilate your pupil. This is a very short painless procedure. The YAG Laser surgery itself can be used to treat problems in other parts of the body as well. Some of these include tattoo removal, removal of acne scars, or spider vein removal.
