This therapy takes place through consecutive visits to your dentist, who will decide if you are a good candidate for this type of treatment. If necessary, your dentist will recommend a series of procedures on your teeth to clean and polish them before the implantation. Some imaging tests will also guide the customization of the veneers to ensure they match your teeth and needs. During the visit for implantation, the enamel is trimmed off to accommodate the veneers. Your dentist may decide to apply some anesthetic to numb your gum before this step. Each veneer will be accurately placed on your teeth and cement is used to fix the implant to your teeth. This is a permanent, non-reversible procedure.
